A Touch of Country

You could feel the excitement and anticipation as friends and family gathered to celebrate Rachel and Matt's big day! The day was full of memorable moments, including the first look with Rachel's dad, bridesmaids, and of course, Matt. Before the wedding, Rachel said that she wanted to incorporate her whole family into getting ready, so after the first looks, her mom helped button her dress, her sisters helped put in her veil, and her dad put on her shoes. For the first look with Matt, the bridal party and immediate family gathered around as he caught his first glimpse. Afterward, we dispersed the crowd so the two could steal a few private moments. They read letters to each other and exchanged small gifts. I love the opportunity to help couples create photogenic moments that significantly impact the feeling of a wedding day.

We continued the wedding day with a sweet and sentimental ceremony followed by the most dreamy Mr. and Mrs. portraits during sunset. I enjoyed watching and capturing Matt and Rachel's friends and family dance the night away before the sparkler exit.
