This very special day began at the Cottage on Orange Street where Madison and her bridesmaids were getting ready. Wedding days don't always offer the perfect conditions, but I couldn't have asked for a better spring day. It was a comfortable 64 degrees with a slight wind, which kept us cool and occasionally added a little drama for the dress and veil. Madison had brought several details for her flat lay photos including handkerchiefs from both of her grandmothers, a small mirror from her mom, and an heirloom pearl pouch.
I have been friends with Madison and Evan for a long time, so it was exciting to be part of this special day. We shared several laughs as we made the wind work for us. There were also tender moments during first looks and private vows. I think Madison's vision of simple elegance with eucalyptus and gold came through in a beautiful way. I hope in looking through this small glimpse into their big day, you will see the time and energy Madison and Evan put into crafting each detail, the work of the many vendors, and the true love they feel for one another.
